Yesterday our neighborhood had an awareness party/ice cream social/a reason to get together and have a few drinks. We're really enjoying this neighborhood. When we first moved in we were the 2nd house and now there are about 15 houses. We seem to have a great group of neighbors who are around our same age which is nice. We all have young kids and we just have a great time when we get together. In fact, the party was over at 8:30 but it continued on our deck until about midnight!
Maverick had a great time. He was so worn out by 8:30 that he actually asked to go to bed!
The Scooby Doo Moonwalk!
One of the neighbor boys (who is actually Mav's 3rd cousin) had a John Deere Gator. Bryce and I are thinking we're going to need one of these. Mav absolutely loved it!
And then the firetruck came around the corner.....
I have never seen Maverick so excited.
Our local Police Officer came by for a visit
She even gave Mav an official badge. Funny, when they pull me over I never get a special sticker.
