The first coat of stain and sealer is on. It's super wet and whoa does it smell.

Maverick's new pet. Yes, we found a baby turtle in our walk out. He is so little and his shell is still soft.

Bryce researching to see exactly what kind of turle he is and what we should feed him. Maverick is in love with the little guy

Our first meal in the basement.

We ordered in a little Sushi tonight. Mav likes to be involved, so he insists on his chicken being served on a Sushi plate, his own dish of soy sauce and of course...chopstix.

We have officially moved to the basement for 2 weeks.

Preparing for new floors.

We're having our hardwood floors sanded and refinished. So, today we had to move completely out of the Kitchen. They're telling us 2 weeks. 1 week for the work and 1 week until we can move everything back in.

Before we moved everything out.

And After.

Organizing

I spent several hours today organizing my pantry and desk area. It's so rewarding to see it all cleaned out. I should have taken before pictures because you have no idea how big of a change this made. Just ask my mom, my pantry was in a bit of mess!

The Zoo
Today we took Lilly, Tammy and Ryan to the Zoo. We had a great time. It was pretty hot, so the animals weren't real active, but we still got to see quite a few up close and personal.

Weekend in Kingman.

We went to the park on Friday night. Mav fit right in with all of the kids. He really has become a social little guy. Then we stayed the night with gma and gpa Lankton.

The 2007 Bloody Mary Open

Twice a year I have always played in a golf tournament with my Mom, Cinda and Bonnie. Well, Bonnie went and moved to Seattle and Mom went and moved to Roatan and our team hasn't every been quite the same. This year Cinda decided to put together her own little tournament while mom was in town and she also had a big surprise... Bonnie was flying to town and my mom had no idea!

Team #1 Jeannie, Christy, Bev and Connie. They came complete with Island/Rain gear!

I didn't quite catch it all on video, but this is my mom seeing Bonnie for the first time.

Team #2 Mary, Joyce, Don and John. They also came complete with Island attire.

Three yay hoos on the green

We only got 9 holes in before it started storming. So, we spent the rest of the afternoon playing cards and maybe we did a little drinking.

The whole Motley Crew!
